Fairway services are designed to meet and exceed the expectations of community including residents and their families and supporters now and into the future. With caring and committed staff group, an engaged Board, high quality facilities coupled with a strong balance sheet, the organisation is well positioned to enter this next phase of residential care through its nearly complete expansion plans.The Board seeks to appoint a highly capable, energetic, empathic, and inspiring leader to this critically important organisation. With a proud history of supporting the needs of community, the organisation is well positioned to harness the opportunities being created through its expansion and significant policy reform across the aged care sector. The newly appointed CEO will lead the organisations next strategic planning cycle reflecting their commitment to the client experience and operational excellence.Reporting to a dedicated and highly skilled Board, the CEO will lead a committed team to manage and build on the organisations capability and capacity to deliver outstanding, person centred, responsive and innovative services, aligned with the organisations values, ethos and commitments. A key aspect of the role will be exercising sound business acumen to the operations, whilst maintaining a culture that is based around high quality care and resident wellbeing.The successful candidate should have a background in aged care or the broader health sector with a record of leading a multidisciplinary workforce and growing complex services. As a contemporary leader who is inspiring and visionary. they will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and have the proven ability to engage collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to foster a reputation of care, quality and trust. The appointee will be strategic, will have strong commercial acumen, and an unwavering commitment to quality.This is a prime opportunity for a dynamic leader to further develop a thriving organisation and firmly position it for a vibrant future. It will suit a leader whose values are aligned to community, care and kindness.The OrganisationFairway Bayside Aged Care was established in 1995 as a 30-bed not-for-profit community home, offering the highest quality clinical care and an innovative commitment to overall resident wellbeing.Since that time Fairway residents were able to remain in the community in which they had lived, worked and raised families, with the extension to a 62- bed capacity.
