As a Compliance Manager for Business Banking, youll provide 2nd line compliance advice across our growing Business Banking division, ensuring regulatory obligations are met and frameworks are enhanced to support sustainable compliance outcomes.Youll join a dynamic team during a period of significant growth and help ING maintain its status as Australias most trusted bank. This role is highly advisory in nature and offers the opportunity to help shape compliance culture and frameworks by offering guidance aligned with the Corporations Act and other relevant regulations.It would suit a commercially minded compliance professional coming from a banking background that wants to build a trusted partner relationship with your stakeholders, helping them to launch new products and grow the business banking offering whilst keeping them compliant with regulatory guidelines.Ready to make an impact?What youll doProvide 2nd line advisory support on compliance matters across Business Banking products (e.g., business loans, transaction accounts, equipment finance)Develop, enhance, and maintain compliance frameworks, with a strong understanding of regulatory obligations including the Corporations ActInterpret regulatory changes and provide pragmatic, risk-based advice to business partnersConduct thematic reviews and offer guidance on control effectiveness and compliance risk mitigation strategiesSupport the implementation of compliance obligations across policies, procedures, and business processesCollaborate with other Compliance Managers and support broader compliance activities and initiativesAssist in driving a strong compliance culture through regular engagement and communication with stakeholdersStay up-to-date with evolving regulatory landscapes, emerging risks, and enforcement trendsWhat were looking forMinimum 8 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry, preferably in business banking or commercial banking.Strong knowledge of Australian legal and regulatory frameworks including the Corporations Act, APRA, ASIC obligations, and industry codes relevant to business lending and banking.Legal qualification is advantageous.Highly developed analytical skills and ability to provide commercially pragmatic solutions.Experience in interpreting obligations and embedding them within frameworks and operational processes.Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and educate senior business stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.Whats in it for you?Drop everything and learn with over 16,000 professional and personal development courses to choose fromDiscounted ING Health InsuranceAn additional Rest Day to support your wellbeingAbout UsAt ING, we want to make life simpler and more worthwhile for everyone who banks with us, for the people who work with us, and the community at large, too.When you come to work at ING, youre joining a team where individuality isnt just accepted, its encouraged.
