Join to apply for the Senior Electrical Designer role at Sedgman Pty Limited2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Senior Electrical Designer role at Sedgman Pty LimitedJob DescriptionWith a solid foundation in minerals processing, we are steadily expanding into new commodities and regions - driven by innovation and a commitment to delivering smart, practical engineering solutions.Job DescriptionWith a solid foundation in minerals processing, we are steadily expanding into new commodities and regions - driven by innovation and a commitment to delivering smart, practical engineering solutions.Backed by strategic acquisitions and ongoing global growth, we offer exciting opportunities for talented professionals to grow with us.If you have proven experience as an Electrical Designer in design and consultancy within the mining and minerals processing sector, wed love to hear from you.At Sedgman, we prioritise trust, independence, and initiative - allowing you to shape your career and contribute to our collective success.Primary DutiesDevelop detailed design drawings in particular electrical schematics and terminations, panel layouts, single line diagrams, instrument drawing, and block diagrams.Develop 3D models of electrical equipment (including cable ladder, conduits, panels and electrical equipment)Participate in design reviews and offer guidance on drafting challenges or compliance with relevant regulations.Maintain and update drafting task lists to ensure accurate tracking of work in progress.Contribute to regular project reporting, including updates on progress, resource needs, budget tracking, priorities, work allocation, and team support requirements.Ensure all drawings undergo thorough checking and review processes;
