This role demands a seasoned professional with deep market insight, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of navigating complex regulatory environments to secure commercially viable outcomes.Essential Job FunctionsSupport the Site Selection Director, (SSD), with execution of the long-term business objectives within property portfolioConduct feasibility analysis, due diligence, TIA assessment, and financial modelling to assess commercial viability of potential acquisitionsSupport the SSD in the negotiation of; freehold purchases, lease to purchase, and development agreements with property owners, developers, and government agenciesG1 & G2 preparation; collaborating with legal, finance, customer insight & NSD teams to secure internal project approvalMonitor and report on market trends, zoning changes, and infrastructure developments that impact property strategyManage acquisition budgets, timelines, and reporting obligations to ensure performance against strategic KPIsPrepare and report new site opportunities completing and validating all assessments prior to nominating the site for consideration by the site selection committeeLead weekly meetings regarding new site opportunitiesContribute to the development of short-, medium- and long-term strategic plans to support changing business priorities and direction, and be accountable for development and execution of these at an individual property levelInternal Collaboration Engage with internal stakeholders across planning, finance, legal, construction and delivery teams to align acquisition activities with business objectives.
