This is a hands-on position where you''ll be expected to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the detail, guiding business units with timely, risk-based regulatory advice and fostering a strong compliance culture.Youll lead a high-performing team (3 direct reports across a division of approx. 8) across Business Support, Program Support, and Privacy functions, and represent Compliance Advisory in governance forums and strategic initiatives. You bring deep expertise in Australian financial services regulation and a collaborative mindset that builds trust across teams.Were looking for someone who:Has worked in a similar role in the banking industry.Has experience in advising compliance and regulatory advice to Retail and Business Bank divisions.Has strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.Additionally, you are someone who can translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, commercially sound guidance. With experience in compliance across digital banking, fintech, or data-driven environments, you bring a sharp analytical mindset and a strong ability to solve problems. Your communication style is clear and impactful, allowing you to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
