The WA health system as a single health entity covers an area of approximately 2.5 million square kilometres.Position ProfileWe are seeking a visionary leader for the newly created role of Assistant Director General, Chief Digital Officer (ADG CDO). This pivotal position offers the opportunity to shape and lead the digital future of statewide health services.As ADG CDO, you will provide strategic leadership across digital strategy, planning, prioritisation, implementation, and assurance for major digital health initiatives and transformation programs. You will govern clinical, corporate, and infrastructure ICT programs, ensuring alignment between the System Manager and Health Service Providers (HSPs) to deliver improved health outcomes for Western Australians.In this dynamic leadership role, you will guide the strategic direction of system-wide digital ICT, championing innovation in areas like artificial intelligence, automation, and clinical transformation. Your work will involve building strong relationships with Health Service Providers, ensuring alignment and shared ownership of digital initiatives.
