We specialise in the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of high voltage infrastructure such as transmission substations, wind farms and battery storage systems.With over 700 employees and offices in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, CPP are preferred partners with Australias major transmission network providers and we are rapidly growing to play a significant role in connecting Australias energy future.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Primary Electrical Engineer to join our large and multidisciplinary engineering team across NSW and QLD.You will hold both technical and supervisory responsibilities for the development of high-quality designs for primary high-voltage (HV) systems. You will support the Principal Engineers and develop designs associated with HV systems including cable rating, load flow, insulation coordination, earthing and lighting protection studies.Joining our in-house Design & Engineering Team consisting of over 170 highly experienced professionals, you will provide excellence in primary, civil, structural buildings and site services engineering carried out internally by CPP or externally by consultants.Bringing your experience with HV systems, you will be an integral part of our team and play a big part in the success of the various flagship projects CPP have won.About YouDesired Skills and ExperienceTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will PossessTertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalentDemonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industryExpertise in substation design and/or utility grid connectionsStrong knowledge of Australian industry standardsHigh-level communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join Us?At CPP our people are our most important asset.
