Youll work alongside a talented group of maintainers and electricians to keep the rail network running smoothly.About The RoleAs a key member of the team, you will:Lead the onsite installation, maintenance and repair of trackside systems equipmentEnsure all work is performed in accordance with WH&S requirements and legislative policiesImplement, co-ordinate and manage worksite safe working & environmental protectionEnsure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications and standardsMaintain all records and associated documentation relating to quality of works performed, inspection & test plans and costing systemsFor further info please click here to view the Position Description.About YouWere looking for a motivated, experienced individual who brings:Certificate III Mechanical Rail SignallingC Class Drivers LicenceLeadership experienceExperience managing worksitesWork hoursTypically, youll work a 8/6 roster from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with a 6-day weekend every fortnight.All travel is paid for on work time, and we provide work vehicles and accommodation for when youre working away.Youll receive an additional tax-free allowance of $130 per night when working away from home.We look forward to hearing from motivated individuals who are ready to make an impact and work as part of a dedicated team!Apply for the Senior Mechanical Systems Maintainer role via our website by clicking the Apply button before midnight on Tuesday the 5th of August 2025.Applicants for roles at Queensland Rail may undergo pre-employment alcohol and drug testing if they advance in the recruitment process.
