They are now seeking a qualified Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter to join their growing team in Adelaide.About the Role :This is a full-time afternoon shift role , Monday to Friday, working from 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 10 PM . Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, youll carry out mechanical maintenance, breakdown support, and reliability improvements across a fast-paced production facility.Youll be joining a skilled and collaborative team including :Maintenance ManagerMultiple day, afternoon, and night shift fitters and electriciansKey Responsibilities :Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on machinery and plant equipmentDiagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise downtimeSupport production teams with equipment adjustments and improvementsWork collaboratively with fellow tradespeople and management across shiftsMaintain compliance with WHS and safety protocolsKeep accurate records of work performed and parts usedWhat Were Looking For :Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade)B Class Electrical Licence (highly regarded)Current Forklift Licence (LF)EWP Licence (Yellow Card or High-Risk WP)Basic welding / fabrication skillsAbility to work independently on afternoon shiftOwn basic hand toolsWhats on Offer :Competitive salary package : $90,000 $110,000 + penalty rates + superConsistent Monday to Friday schedule no weekend work!Opportunity to work for a global seafood industry leaderGreat team culture and supportive work environmentOn-site training and thorough onboarding, including a facility tourStart Date :Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to commence within 24 weeks .Recruitment Process :Interview 1 : With the Hiring Manager and Maintenance ManagerInterview 2 : With the Hiring Manager + facility walkthrough with Engineering ManagerReference Checks : With 2 previous employersPre-employment Medical : Required before startingApply NowClick APPLY and submit your resume, cover letters are optional.
