Join to apply for the Flight Line Technician role at Jet Aviation2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Flight Line Technician role at Jet AviationLocation:East Sale, VIC, AU, 3852Flexible Work Arrangement: OnsiteJob Category: Aircraft Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO)Career Level: Technicians / CrewRequisition Id: 4336Position SummaryThe Flight Line Technician is responsible for the efficient maintenance support of PC21 aircraft in respect of Flight Line and minor hangar maintenance activities as required.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform preparation for flight activityParticipate in Flight Line Planning activities as required.Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance predominantly in a flight line settingEnsure all entries and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified.Carry out line maintenance functions.Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.Ensure FOD control procedures are adhered to.Ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to.Ensure GSE is serviceable and report any defects or deficienciesEnsure data used is current and applicableEnsure Tool control requirements are adhered to.Ensure at all times documentation is correctly raised and completed.Assist with defect analysis and investigations.Carry out aircraft washing and associated corrosion control inspectionCarry out aircraft towing and repositioning.Carry out aircraft refueling.Carry out aircraft marshalling in accordance with appropriate order.Other duties as may be directed by your supervisor from time to time.Minimum RequirementsAircraft Maintenance Qualification (Aeroskills Certificate II, IV, Military/Foreign Equivalent or suitable Units of Competency).Ability to receive training by an OEM endorsed organisation.Meet the requirements of attaining security clearance at a RAAF BaseKnowledge of DASA regulations is desirable though not essential.Knowledge of OH&S and Environment requirements.Desired CharacteristicsCustomer service and safety focusedExcellent communications, customer service and people skillsResults driven able to execute with high personal accountabilityStrong initiative and self-directionStrong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)Ability to deploy in support of Aircraft away base deployment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
