Bidfood Launceston is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a full time Storeperson/ Delivery Driver at our Western Junction branch.If you enjoy hands-on work, value consistency and variety in your day, and take pride in being part of a well-run operation, this could be the role for you. This role also suits someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. With well-maintained vehicles, a supportive team and a laid-back yet professional environment, youll be part of a foodservice network that helps keep cafs, kitchens and venues stocked and running smoothly.Youll build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted part of their day delivering not just products, but reliability and great service.About the roleOn a typical day, youll be picking and assembling customer orders, loading trucks, managing inbound stock and, delivering orders safely and efficiently while representing Bidfood out in the field. The role will also require you to:Pick and assemble goods accuratelyLoad trucks efficiently and safelyUnloading stock and placing items in customer locationsMaintaining vehicle cleanliness and conditionUpholding food safety and hygiene practicesReceive, put away and rotate stockMaintain tidy and accurate bin locationsWork overtime when required to meet demandAbout youWere looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly.
