Assist with the operation of Boatyard Hardstand and the launch and retrieval of trailer boats.You will also:Assist in carrying out general cleaning and tidiness of all Marina, Boatyard, Trailer Park and Chandlery areasAssist Marina office staff with daily operations and all tasks associated with the running of the Marina, Boatyard, Trailer Park and chandlery including refilling gas bottles and emptying old oilEnsure all boats and jet skis are launched and retrieved in a safe and proper manner using a tractor and 4WDAssist Maintenance department in carrying out general repairs and maintenance to all boatyard and marine areasMaintain effective channels of communications, attend departmental briefings and meetings, ensuring all relevant information is passed on between the appropriate partiesEnsure cleanliness and safe handling procedures are kept for all Hamilton Marina Boatyard equipmentEnsure uniform, presentation, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices are in accordance with the Hamilton Islands policies and procedures and the Workplace Health and Safety ActOperation of Boatyard Heavy Lifting equipment and vessels as assignedEmergency work associated with the safety of staff and guests and cleanliness of the island as requiredCarry out additional tasks in line with the job role as required by the Marina ManagerAbout You:You have excellent personal presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
