Join our Economic Development team in an award-winning local government organization.What we are looking forWe are seeking a self-starter who is motivated, with a happy disposition, wanting to provide great customer service. As a team player, you will assist the Park Manager in providing administration services to visitors and residents of Council caravan parks and accommodation facilities. Your role will facilitate and directly support the efficient operation of Council accommodation services by performing check-ins, office administration, secretarial, and administrative support.This is an exciting opportunity to work with an ever-changing dynamic team within the Mid-Western Regional Council.This role is casual, based on-site in Mudgee. The salary range being offered is $44.61 to $50.23 per hour plus superannuation.Key AccountabilitiesDirect guest check-in and check-out following correct proceduresEnsure high-level customer service is maintained at all timesTake cash, credit card, and debit card payments in accordance with Council policies and proceduresAssist guests with questions and reasonable requestsMake and confirm reservations, ensuring all bookings adhere to payment and cancellation policiesNotify housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaningMaintain stock levels in the kiosk/shop within the reception areaConduct site tours if necessary with prospective guestsAnswer incoming calls, handle correspondence, and sort mailAttend to general reception duties including filing and maintaining guest databasesPerform any other duties as assigned by managementAbout Mudgee:The Mudgee Region offers outstanding tourist attractions, investment opportunities, and lifestyle benefits, all just 3.5 hours from Sydney.
