Be a part of it, lets get something started!About The RoleThe Records and Information Team is responsible for providing operational support to the organisation in the management of Councils records management functions, these include but are not limited to, document registration, access and retrieval of corporate information as well as supporting end users in the most optimal use of Councils Document Management System.We are currently seeking an Information Management Analyst for a period of up to 6 Months. The position maybe extended for additional 6 months.In this role you will be undertaking detailed analysis of information management requirements across all systems, platforms and applications to enable the development and implementation of information management solutions in line with legislative requirements and Councils strategies.A critical part of this role will involve comprehensive stakeholder engagement and consultation across the organisation to ensure that data quality meets regulatory requirements and is reliable, accurate and accessible to inform decision making as required and support Councils information management strategies.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:Demonstrated experience with Electronic Records Management technologies and information classification schemes including their development, implementation, and maintenance.Advanced ability to research, analyse and recommend improvements to the organisation''s use of software applications.Demonstrated system administration skills in an Electronic Document and Records Management System environment and integrated corporate systems.Demonstrated experience in translating legislation and policies into sound information management practices to meet legislative requirements.Demonstrated experience in providing responsive and proactive customer service support to end users.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally as well as a high level of reading and comprehension of technical documentation.Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitating change management processes to achieve agreed outcomes.Project management and consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and establish effective working relationships with employees, vendors and representatives of other agencies.Demonstrated experience in developing training material and delivering courses.Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
