We''ve built our business through commitment to the quality of our product, the development of our people and by providing a delightful experience to all of our customers.Job DescriptionThe OpportunityWorking in a full-time capacity in this 12-month fixed term role, you will report to the Data Engineering Manager based in our Camberwell support office. You will be ready to rise to the challenge and bake a difference through various activities always with an eye for continuous improvement - including (but not limited to):Developing and implementing automated processes for extracting, transforming and loading data (ETL).Managing data warehouses so that they are all accessible and performing to their optimum.Setting up systems to ensure quality of data and that data loss and corruption is mitigated.Undertaking performance tuning and data ETL processes.Ensuring data management processes and systems are documented.Analysis of business requirements and project proposals specifically in relation to data components.Providing technical consultation and expertise to IT experts and other stakeholders.Lets hear about you!Wed love you to join us! Your time has come to bake a world of difference at Bakers Delight by:Having previous work experience as a data professional and as a data engineer.Being degree qualified in Computer Science or related field.Hold current certifications in: cloud computing fundamentals, data fundamentals, data engineering, and object oriented programming.Using your expertise in either Python or Scala and SQL.Having analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.Being organised and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.Being a great communicator with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business terminology.Why Bakers Delight?Youll loaf being part of the Bakers Delight family!!
