Join to apply for the Business Development Executive role at Clyde & Co2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Business Development Executive role at Clyde & CoTitle: Business Development ExecutiveLocation: Preferably London but happy to consider other locations in the UKType: PermanentHybrid working: 2 days per week in the officeThe TeamOur Strategy Seeks ToManage and develop clients and profileAdopt a content and product led approach in taking our practice groups to marketPrioritise the use of integrated digital marketing channelsPosition our most senior staff as advisors to the business, supported by expert execution teamsOur principles dictate that the highest value clients and opportunities command the highest value BD attention and bespoke tacticsKey ResponsibilitiesPitching - Working with the wider BD team to provide support on pitches including:Ability to understand RFPs and ensure final draft meets the requirementsSourcing standard content as it relates to the brief such as company information, CVs and capability statements suitably tailored to the client/sectorPreparing briefs for formatting documentation to RFP requirementsAssisting with pitch presentationsUpdating procurement portals with standard company informationAbility to liaise with stakeholders for inputEvent Management - Working With The BD And Events Team To Manage In Person Or Online Client Events From Start To Finish IncludingManaging event lists and coordinating the invitation listsCoordinating production of Event collateral including invitations, presentation content and marketing materialsLiaising with key vendors to arrange necessary logisticsProject managing the delivery of client webinarsAttending in person events and providing on site managementReporting and providing analysis of the ROI of online and in person eventsMarketing/CRM systemsSupporting the BD & Marketing team with the creation of client mailings for campaigns and initiatives and managing distributionManaging the production of brochures and key marketing materialsProducing reports on CRM activities to support and measure BD & Marketing campaigns and initiativesUsing analytics to monitor performance of activity and report appropriately ensuring maximum ROI is achievedCreating and maintaining content on the firms websiteAssisting with the production of podcastsActing as an ambassador for brand and process best practice with opportunities to take on champion role in specialist areasDirectoriesContributing to the legal directory process, including collation of content, managing submissions, interviews and reporting back to the business.Reporting/analysis/researchAssisting with client relationship management programmes, including collation and analysis of client feedbackProviding ad hoc support to revenue generating initiatives such as client and market research and assisting with the production of data/financial reportsEssential Skills And ExperienceBusiness Development Executives are provided with training and exposure to all of the core BD & marketing disciplines as well as the opportunity to develop understanding of the firms core sectors to prepare them for their future careers. A willingness to learn, positive attitude and ability to apply sensible judgement are highly valued.The Ideal Candidate WillHave at least one years experience in business development and marketing within a professional services organisationBe an effective team-player and have good interpersonal skillsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsHave strong organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects, manage expectations of stakeholders and meet tight deadlinesPossess excellent IT skills with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet research tools.
