About the role: Join our team to install, maintain, and repair overhead traction power equipment following predefined work programs. You''ll also coordinate site protection, manage safe working, and implement environmental protection measures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systemsReport on actual work performed against scheduled work program and equipmentProgress the implementation and application of work procedures in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvementAssist in and carry out, where qualified, the installation, maintenance and repair of trackside systems, equipment and infrastructure in accordance with procedureIdentify and advise of any exceptions relating to the performance of assets9 on / 5 off roster day shift only with overtime requiredTravel across Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN) for scheduled maintenance and closuresResidential role FIFO is NOT offered for this positionAbout you:Electrical Trade Qualification (Mandatory)Certificate III in Rail Traction (Highly Desirable) & QLD Electrical Licence Traction Linesperson (Highly Desirable)Current Class C Drivers Licence (Mandatory) and HR Truck Licence (Advantageous)High Risk Work Licence including Rigging, Dogging and EWPSubstantial knowledge of overhead traction power equipment and relevant maintenance & installation standardsHigh regard for safety & knowledge of WHSPrevious supervisory experience (highly regarded)What we can offer you:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees to reach their full potential.
