Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.The Aboriginal Health Unit and team is located with University Hospital and provide support and advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inpatients and their families.How To ApplyNeeds some help applying? Contact our Aboriginal Workforce Officer (AWO).The Aboriginal Workforce Officer (AWO) oversees the implementation of the Aboriginal Employment Plan and has regular contact with all Aboriginal employees and their Supervisors and Managers, acting as a cultural consultant and mentor. The AWO also actively encourages prospective work areas within Barwon Health to engage Aboriginal jobseekers and supports local Aboriginal community in regards to recruitment, workplace wellbeing and professional development.To apply for a role at Barwon Health it is a requirement that you register with People Plus and apply through our online system.
