Amentum offers an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Project Manager - Proposals to join our team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.Applicants must be either a US citizen with TS/SCI clearance or an Australian citizen able to obtain the appropriate security clearance.Role OverviewThe Project Manager - Proposals is a key member of the Project Development Office within Amentums Engineering, Projects, Integration & Construction (EPIC) team. Based in Alice Springs, this role involves delivering proposal development services supporting the construction, operation, maintenance, and management of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems within Amentums programs in Australia. The position requires managing complex infrastructure projects and configurations, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to develop robust proposals and execution plans under tight deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the entire proposal development and submission process, including interpreting RFPs, coordinating RFIs, developing solutions, preparing SOWs, analyzing bids, and creating strategic proposals.Develop proposal strategies based on tender requirements.Lead the development, review, and release of proposal components.Create detailed project execution packages for awarded proposals.Support project execution as needed.Maintain proposal documentation according to document control standards.Promote health and safety practices at all times.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsEssential: Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, or Project Management.Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in the same fields.Experience and SkillsMinimum: Knowledge of proposal and project management processes, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe, document management experience.Preferred: Experience with proposal/bid development, proposal planning, Microsoft Project, schedule management, construction project management, estimation, SharePoint, and MS Project.Work Environment and Physical DemandsOffice setting with occasional lifting up to 10kg, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting, and constant communication.
