As an AGV Engineer , you will play a key role in AGV Projects, involved overseeing everything from the initial system specifications, design to the final delivery and implementation AGV System for our customers.This dynamic, hands-on role offers the opportunity to travel and spend approximately 75% of your time on-site, bring AGV solutions to life in diverse locations.Work with technicalexperts and gain valuable experience, with Global leader AGV solution. Our head office is based in Belrose (on Sydney''s Northern Beaches), where as part of the onboarding process, you will have opportunity to experience the AGV firsthand.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the quality and system processes are followed within assigned projects Preparing AGV functionality and technical specifications Develop System design and programming of AGV systems. Assisting in AGV System testing and integration, and AGV factory testing Assist with installation specifications Testing and integration of AGV and PLC systems Commissioning of AGVs on-site Support projects in managing costs and schedules Participate in the training of operators Assist in the development and improvement of the AGV project deliveryABOUT YOUSuccessful candidates will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience: Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Recent Grad or 1-2 years experience Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming and commissioning Knowledge of PC and basic programming ( PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable) Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis and trouble shooting Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages Experience with automation or materials handling highly desirable Strong communication skills Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills Hunger and ability to learnWHY BRING YOUR CAREER TO DEMATICThis is an exciting time to join Dematic.
