Would you like to be part of a dynamic and supportive team that respects work-life balance and values a positive and collaborative culture?As Human Resources (HR) & Return to Work (RTW) Business Partner, you will work closely with leadership and employees in providing specialist advice across the full employee lifecycle, including people & performance management, return to work management, attraction & retention, employment relations, HR systems, policy & projects planning and delivery.Key responsibilities include:Provide HR support through an active and collaborative business partner approach.Lead and mentor the HR and RTW Support Officer.Coordinate recruitment, selection, and induction practices.Coordinate Council''s Return to Work (RTW) program in accordance with the relevant legislation, making decisions where required to ensure positive and appropriate outcomes for injured workers wherever possible.Prepare correspondence relating to the employment relationship, including but not limited to contracts and terms & conditions, variation letters, return to work correspondence, performance and service acknowledgements, and termination of employment.Conduct employment interviews, inductions and exit interviews as required.Provide specialist expertise and advice to the organisation in relation to all HR and RTW related matters including, where appropriate, the interpretation of Awards, Acts, Regulations, and organisational policy.Assist in the development and implementation of policy, process, and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, Enterprise Agreement and employment terms and conditions.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes, procedures, and systems.ABOUT YOUWhat you''ll bring:Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or similar, and/or a degree or diploma in Human Resources / Business Management or similar.A highly motivated, innovative, and adaptable approach.Exceptional relationship and collaboration skills to business partner with all key stakeholders.Experienced in maintaining performance and meeting targets in constantly evolving environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to a friendly, caring and customer focussed HR service.Experience in RTW Management in a diverse organisation.Strong commitment to continuous improvement across all systems and processes.Proven ability to lead a small team and develop a strong customer-oriented culture within the team.Sound like you?
