Tasks & responsibilities Providing advice on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps Colouring, straightening and permanent waving hair with chemical solutions Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors Styling hair into dreadlocks and braids and adding hair extensions Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments Arranging appointments and collecting payments May clean, colour, cut and style wigs and hairpieces Ability to multitask between different tasks at hand while working under pressure during busy periods You must be passionate about the hairdressing industry and keen to learn from experienced stylists and technicians Stay ahead of hairdressing trends and continually striving to grow Ability to adapt to different electronic management systems Beauty experience will be an added advantage Qualifications & experience Certificate III Hairdressing or above with Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Hairdresser Extensive experience in similar position may substitute the formal qualification
