We are driven by shared values: a sense of belonging, genuine fun, wowing guests, environmental and cultural integrity, simplicity, and passionate leadership.About the role:We have 3 exciting casual opportunities for Spa Therapists who are passionate about delivering quality treatments through a unique, nurturing, and holistic guest experience.We offer spa and relaxation services exclusively to guests partaking in The Bay of Fires Walk based near Ansons Bay on the North East Coast of Tasmania. Here you will experience true communion with nature, combining simplicity and an off-grid lifestyle.This is a hybrid position, with a shared focus between delivering spa services and supporting the lodge host with basic cleaning, baking, and food preparation. You will mostly work independently, making this role ideal for someone who is self-motivated, resilient, autonomous, and a good communicator.You will spend 5 to 6 days out at a time, working a rotating roster of 6 days on / 8 days off and 5 days on / 9 days off.This Position runs from mid-September through May, with pre-season training starting in-field in mid-September.What you will bring:The ideal candidates for this role will meet these essential requirements:1+ years experience working in a similar role or industry preferred.Be flexible and adaptable with a high level of professionalism and well-presented.Experienced with using online booking systems and schedules (Fresha System preferred)Possess effective communication, rapport building skills and organisational skills.Be self-motivated, reliable, autonomous, resilient and comfortable working alone.Able to travel to and work in a remote locationInspired and excited by off-grid infrastructure and motivated to uphold and maintain the spas overall appearance.Have a passion for outdoors, wellbeing, and wilderness experiencesFor this role you are expected to hold, maintain & renew:Cert IV or Diploma in Beauty or Massage (or equivalent)Provide First Aid: HLTAID011 (must be current)Provide CPR: HLTAID009 (must be current within 1 year)SITXFSA005 certification (use hygienic practices for food safety) - this can be completed online and signed off on-siteWhy work for us:Accommodation and meals provided when working.Established employee wellbeing program (Employee Assistance Program)Family & friends discounts across our walking products.Exclusive pro-deals program for access to discounted adventure gear.A beautiful working environment, a fabulous team, and a magical part of the country - perfect for anyone who loves being in natureHow to Apply:Please provide your current resume and cover letter explaining why you are interested in the position with Tasmanian Walking Company.Tasmanian Walking Company is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workforce and we strongly encourage applications from people of all genders, cultures and walks of life.
