About The RoleSanctuary Care provides in-home care for clients to help them enjoy living independently with support from us.We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care, supporting our clients across Robina in QLD on a Casual or Part-time basis.More Specifically, Some Of Your Duties May IncludeAccompanying clients during daily activities, running errands, and going on outingsFood preparation and shoppingAssisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressingPerforming household tasks such as cleaning, washing, and folding clothesProviding social interaction and companionshipTransport to appointmentsAbout YouThe ideal candidate will ideally have:Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essentialPrevious experience in aged care or disability at least one yearHold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtainHold a COVID-19 VaccinationCurrent Police Check or willing to obtainCurrent First Aid Certificate including CPR or willing to obtainMust have own car & relevant insurancesDementia care qualification desirableProficient verbal and written communication skillsAbout UsSanctuary Care has joined forces with Mounties Care, part of Mounties Group, Australias #1 registered Club group.
