Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for experienced and motivated Forklift Operators to join the Operations team at our Perth Branch.These positions are responsible for the loading, unloading, and sorting of parcels into areas for delivery and general forklift duties.Success in these positions will be measured by sortation accuracy resulting in zero parcels misdirected, deadlines for linehaul loading are met 100% of the time, NIL damages to customers freight, and freight is stacked, packed, and wrapped efficiently to facilitate linehaul loading.Duties:Examine each parcel and allocate it into an appropriate area for delivery; via postcode, destination, and branch.Ensure the manual loading/unloading of parcels from pallets is done safely following correct manual handling processes.Complete and maintain parcel processing records and all related documentation.Communicate effectively with your team and supervisors to meet schedules and escalate issues related to processes, safety, and operations.Loading/unloading freight onto a conveyor belt.Sorting freight.Transporting pallets to respective areas.Skills and Experience:Experience in the transport industry.Ability to adhere to WHS and safety regulations.Excellent attitude, a good work ethic, and reliability.A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive lifting.Ability to work unsupervised.Join a team that delivers excellence every timeAt Border Express, weve been setting the standard for exceptional service and results for over 40 years.
