We are committed to ensure that all our people feel respected and participate safely within a work environment without aggression, sexual harassment, discrimination and racism.Where you''ll be workingHornsby HospitalWhat You''ll Be DoingOperating hospital switchboard; and hospital Paging systemsAnswering incoming and outgoing callsDelivering assistance in a polite, clear, well-spoken and calm manner in all circumstancesContacting staff and emergency groups for code calls e.g. cardiac arrest and trauma groupsPerforming routine clerical duties as required by the ManagerProviding an effective, efficient, timely and courteous service to patients, visitors, the public and staff who interact with the switchboard.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following CriteriaPrevious experience in a reception or other high-volume call environmentExceptional communication and customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a teamFlexibility to work a variety of shifts 24/7 roster.
