We are leaders in our communities in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Coffs Harbour and the Gold Coast and pride ourselves on helping shape a better tomorrow.About the opportunityBased at one of our beautiful campuses (Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour), this position plays a key role in maintaining and optimising the Librarys systems and digital tools, including the research repository, discovery platform and library website. Youll work within a small, flexible team, supporting a wide range of users while contributing to projects that improve the digital library experience.In this role, you will:Coordinate and support systems such as Alma, Primo VE, Esploro, and the Library website.Administer the Librarys digital content services and resource discovery systems, including the Librarys website, research outputs repository and integrations with third-party applications.Provide user-focused advice and support to stakeholders and vendors.Contribute to system testing and implementation of new technologies and tools.Identify, develop, implement and evaluate innovative digital services, technologies and workflows, with an emphasis on user experience, best practice, and accessibilityAbout youYoull bring a strong understanding of university libraries and digital information environments, paired with a curiosity for technology and excellent communication skills. You thrive in a small team, are comfortable juggling multiple systems and tasks, and enjoy learning on the job.To succeed in this role, youll have:A relevant qualification at degree level or above, with experience in academic libraries or with digital systems highly desirable.Familiarity with the application and management of systems within the academic library context, e.g. resource discovery, metadata and accessibility standards.Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver practical solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.Enthusiasm for improving digital experiences in a library setting.Salary and benefitsOur staff benefit from flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work models, generous parental and carers leave provisions, wellbeing initiatives, employee assistance programs and professional learning opportunities. This position is:Full-time, continuing (permanent)Located at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480. Generous relocation support available.HEW Level 6. The base salary ranges from $92,716 - $101,691 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation.
