This hands-on role will report through the Mt Arthur South Electrical, Technology and Infrastructure Superintendent and support Thiesss operations at Mt Arthur South.Working on a Lifestyle roster, the responsibility of the role will be to assist with the maintenance and installation of infrastructure and systems which support the Operational Technology (OT), Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and other smart machine systems used on Mt Arthur South site.Some of your duties will include:Installations and maintenance on mobile fleetInstallations and maintenance on mine backhaul networkCarry out inspections and repairs during machine overhaulsPerform system upgrades as requiredBuild close working relationship with equipment OEMs.About youCert III in Telecommunications or Electronics (or similar)Certificate of Proficiency - in Telecommunications or Electronics (or similar)Cert III in Electrotechnology (desirable)Drivers licenseExperience working in an open cut mining environmentKnowledge and demonstrated experience of Network maintenance, Fleet Management System (FMS) and other smart machine systemsKnowledge of the following/similar systems will be highly desirable:Ivolve FMSTerrain drill profiling data capture with GPS correctionMine 4DDSS Fatigue monitoringVideo Cameras monitoring the open cut operations.Wireless Networks and associated infrastructureCCTVWhat Thiess can do for youPermanent full-time positionsEven time, lifestyle rostersThiess commitment to training & developmentSalary sacrifice options Flights & novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.About usAt Thiess, we partner with our clients to deliver excellence in open cut and underground mining in Australia, Asia and the Americas.
