Cleanaway provides sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities and government agencies.The RoleThis role will require you to service multiple customer sites operating a Skip truck delivering skip bins to sites and transporting collected loads to disposal facilities. Due to the physical nature of the role, candidates must be comfortable performing manual handling and heavy lifting. Opportunities for career progression into Hook lift vehicle.You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations, complete all paperwork and records accurately.Must be willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test and Police Check.As a HR Skip Driver you will be responsible for:Collection vehiclePerforming loading and unloading duties of waste productDelivering loads to nominated disposals facilitiesEnsuring high levels of customer service and satisfactionMaintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and outComfortable with a high level of manual handlingWhat is in it for you?As part of closing the gender gap of drivers in the waste management industry, Cleanaway is running a Driver Academy for Women to address substantive equality for female identifying or non-binary persons in the industry by removing some of the barriers preventing them from getting involved.
