Responsibilities will include driving a vac truck to collect liquid waste (cooking oils & grease traps), as well as driving a flatbed truck to transport packaged waste to our disposal and recycling facility. Due to the physical demands of the job, candidates must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations, complete all paperwork and records accurately.Must be willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test and Police Check.As a HR Driver You Will Be Responsible ForCollection vehicleOvernight stay- once per monthPerforming loading and unloading duties of waste productDelivering loads to nominated disposals facilitiesEnsuring high levels of customer service and satisfactionMaintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and outComfortable with a high level of manual handlingWhat is in it for you?As part of closing the gender gap of drivers in the waste management industry, Cleanaway is running a Driver Academy for Women to address substantive equality for female identifying or non-binary persons in the industry by removing some of the barriers preventing them from getting involved.
