Weekend work will be required.Skills Essential To The RoleSupervisory ExperiencePeople management SkillsFlexibilityInventory ManagementPrior Experience with loading and unloading of Perishable GoodsTimely completion of paperwork and reporting when requiredComputer Skills would be considered advantageousYour main responsibilities will include but not limited to:Managing warehouse floor, forklift drivers and stock on site.Co-ordinating the loading, unloading, handling & consolidation of perishable goods.Oversee Operation and setting of set points on Refrigerated EquipmentEnsuring all timeslot requirements are met.Timely completion of paperwork and reporting.Lead staff in a hands on fashion and by example.Ensuring the safe conduct of operations in the workplaceAbout You:To Be Successful For This Role Applicant Must HavePrevious experience in a similar role supervisory role ideally in a Warehouse environment.Inventory management.Current & valid Forklift licenceSuperior interpersonal skills and the ability to manage staff effectively.Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight, ideally perishable goods.Excellent planning & organisational skills with good attention to detailFlexibility, resilience with the ability to work with ever changing priorities.Solid computer skillsWell-developed communication skillsTo be successful for this role applicants must:Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testWhat We OfferCareer development and training opportunitiesA supportive, family-oriented culture that values safety and inclusivityRecognition for service milestonesEmployee referral and retention bonusesSalary packaging options including novated leasesDiscounts with partners like Qantas, Ringers Western, Bridgestone Tyres, and moreEqual Opportunity EmployerThe Lindsay Group is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
