We are hiring for a Match Operations Coordinator to join our Tournament Operations Team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from October 2025 to February 2026.As this is a seasonal role , we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December February. We strongly encourage applications from women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQI+ individuals, people with disability, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.About the roleIn this role you will be responsible for:Coordinate daily operational logistics across Court and Laundry Services throughout the event operational period.Assist with onboarding, rostering, and training for the Court & Laundry Services functional area.Manage day-to-day stakeholder and supplier relationships and performance to ensure seamless service delivery.Act as a central liaison between internal departments such as Broadcast, Ballkids, IT, Product & Precinct Operations.Support venue readiness and ensure all courts and operational areas are functional and maintained to Australian Open standards.About youTo be successful in this role you will:Relevant work experience in sports operations or major event environments.Tertiary qualification in Sports Management, Project Management or related field (highly desirable).Construction Industry White Card (required) and Forklift Licence (highly desirable).Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong administrative and coordination skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.A resilient, detail-oriented and team-focused approach, aligned with Tennis Australias values.Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.Whats to love?Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunitiesTickets to the Australian OpenMonthly health & wellbeing activities with access to CorePlus PilatesOnsite gym, tennis facilities & free onsite car parkingA range of discounts from our sponsorship partnersTo ApplyIf you think youre up to the challenge, wed love to hear from you!
