As well as working with relevant service systems to respond appropriately to their mental health and developmental needs.Provide comprehensive assessment, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management and care planningWork collaboratively across health service networks to plan and coordinate individualised psychosocial interventions to meet the needs of people with mental health issues based on a case formulation approachWork cooperatively and effectively through active participation within the multidisciplinary mental health team, the profession specific network and with consumers, families/carers and extended agenciesPotential for after-hours work, upon negotiationRequirements:Must have one of the following: General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR Mental Health Nurse OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social WorkerDemonstrated a comprehensive level of knowledge, expertise and skill; specifically, Brief Intervention Models of Care Commitment to professional development and willingness to participate in a continuous learning environmentWell-developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planningSound understanding of the public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs and associated non-mental health programs in a community settingIdeally demonstrated experience in providing alcohol and other drugs (AOD) counselling and supportDemonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illnessProven ability to work creatively, collaboratively and effectively as a member of a teamDemonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasksExcellent verbal communication and writing skillsMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue CardMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
