Part-time options may be available.Academic Level D salary + 17% super and staff benefitsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced leader specialising in knowledge mobilisation and workforce capability building to join the Centre for Inclusive Employment within the School of Business Law and Entrepreneurship. The Principal Research Fellow Knowledge Mobilisation Lead is a senior role and will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening workforce capability across the disability employment services sector.As the Principal Research Fellow Knowledge Mobilisation Lead, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of diverse capability-building activities based on evidence and sector needs. This role will develop and implement the Centres knowledge mobilisation and capability-building strategy, including commissioning and managing of a National Employment Services Workforce Skills and Needs Analysis. You will work in collaboration with the Principal Research Fellow Evidence Lead, other Centre staff, and key delivery partners to ensure alignment between research, strategy, and practice. In conjunction with other staff, the role also includes contributing to the evaluation of the impact of capability building and knowledge mobilization strategies and continuously improving their design.In this role, you will also actively participate in the Centres broader work, including preparing reports, providing presentations to stakeholders, mentor and support Centre staff. You will be expected to participate in activities that foster and build further on existing links with government, business, communities and professions in Australia and internationally.About YouYou will have deep expertise in knowledge mobilisation and a strong knowledge of adult learning pedagogy and design, including its application in professional or vocational education settings, this includes experience in professional development, adult education, vocational training, coaching, communities of practice, technical assistance, and innovation pilots or labs. You are interested in working collaboratively in the design and implementation of knowledge products and capability building activities including with sector practitioners and people with disability (such as those using or seeking to use employment services and initiatives of varying kinds).To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning pedagogy and design, including its application in professional or vocational education settings, with the ability to adapt approaches for different learning styles and contextsDemonstrated experience designing and implementing workforce capability-building frameworks, ideally in complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsUnderstanding of inclusive and accessible practices in knowledge mobilisation and adult learning, with a commitment to embedding these principles into all aspects of capability development.Proven ability to design and manage a large program of activities, including multi-partner projects, and apply continuous improvement and iterative design approaches throughout the program lifeDemonstrated competence in working with relevant professions and stakeholders in community, industry and government, including the ability to foster collaborative activities and outcomesDemonstrated potential to design, deliver and commission knowledge mobilisation activities based on evidence.QualificationsA relevant tertiary qualification, with a Masters degree (or equivalent or higher) in Adult Learning, Education, Organisational Development or a related field.A full list of the selection criteria is available within the position description.About Swinburne University of TechnologySwinburnes strategy draws upon our understanding of future challenges.
