This role is critical in enhancing our market share and promoting our comprehensive portfolio of Transformer Service to Transmission and Distribution Utilities, Industries, EPCs, and end customers, including Wind and Solar Farm Operators. How you''ll make an impact: You will collaborate with the Service Sales Manager, Front-End Sales Team, and INL (Industry & Network Leaders) on promoting Transformer Service & Digital portfolio. You will call on existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities, solicit orders, analyze customer needs, and recommend solutions that best meet their requirements. You will develop the sales pipeline, stay knowledgeable about organizational products/services, and compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads based on industry information sources. You will follow up promptly on marketing leads and customer actions, work with global technical resources to produce compelling proposals, competitive prices, credit terms, and support sales offers. You will handle pre-bid queries and customer clarifications to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. You will analyze customer needs and competitor offers, perform win/loss proposal analysis, identify potential causes, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Units. You will participate in negotiations on technical, contractual, and commercial aspects of proposals and provide information for risk review processes. You will ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your background: You hold a bachelors degree in engineering or a related field; an MBA is desirable. You must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in Australia. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Energy Industry, particularly in electrification projects, transmission & distribution, or utility/developer experience. Proven client engagement in the electrical industry, especially transformers, is essential. You have hands-on experience or knowledge of transformer service, maintenance, installation/commissioning, repairs, on-load tap changer maintenance/overhauling, and spare parts. Familiarity with Transformer digital solutions and exposure to Hitachi Energy or other OEM portfolios is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively across teams, manage multiple initiatives, and demonstrate strategic business acumen and resilience in sales pursuits is required. You are proficient in English communication.
