Redland City Council is seeking a dynamic Workforce Planner to drive service efficiency in our Integrated Customer Contact Centre (ICCC).In this pivotal role, youll lead workforce planning efforts by forecasting contact volumes, designing schedules, and analysing operational metrics to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time delivering excellent customer outcomes across our vibrant community.Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:Forecast and model customer contact volumes using historical data and system insightsBuild effective staff schedules aligned to service level targets and operational needsLead and mentor the Reporting and Support Officer, ensuring timely, high-quality reportingAnalyse and report on performance against KPIs and the ICCC Corporate ScorecardMonitor Councils after-hours service levels and support budget development processesDeliver real-time adjustments to staffing plans in response to demand fluctuationsEnsure workforce compliance with internal policies and legislative requirementsWhat we''re looking for:Proven experience in workforce forecasting, scheduling and analysis, ideally within a contact centre or service delivery settingHigh proficiency with workforce management and reporting tools (e.g., Genesys, Verint, Power BI, Tableau)Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insightsDemonstrated financial skills in budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoringCollaborative mindset and excellent stakeholder communication abilitiesExceptional time management and organisational skillsAbout us:At Redland City Council, we are committed to serving our community with excellence.
