In this role, you''ll manage workers compensation claims across multiple self-insured jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and licence conditions. You''ll be supported by two Squad LeadsClaims and Portfolioas you deliver efficient, high-quality claims outcomes.Key Responsibility''s:Manage workers compensation claims consistent with legislation, regulations, internal standards, policies, procedures and financial delegated authorityProvide specialist advice while actively engaging stakeholders and business partners to progress the management of workers compensation mattersContribute to Westpac''s self-insurance licenses for workers compensation by ensuring a strong compliance focusImplement and monitor claim policies, procedures and tools to comply with legislative and internal requirementsContribute to and drive the continuous improvement of the systems and procedures for claims support and management, including auditing and improvement initiativesBuild awareness and capability of stakeholders in supporting care for their employeesRepresent Westpacs interests at mediation, arbitration and the likeEngage actively with external stakeholders such as Regulators, Reinsurers and ActuaryWhat do I need?3 5 years experience in workers compensation claims managementWorking knowledge of workers compensation legislationStrong communication, influencing and negotiation skillsSound and commercial decision making skillsProven legal and litigation knowledge and experienceWhy join us?Were obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and were looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
