Reporting to the Senior Manager, the main purpose of this role is to business partner to Bega Operations General Manager and site leadership team(s) to ensure financial performance outcomes are achieved. Works with central finance team to ensure delivery of specific insight and analytics whilst championing governance & financial controls. Actively lead optimisation projects that support value creation objectives of the area of the organisationWe look for potential, not only performance. Apply commercial and business acumen to lead strategic thinking. Actively ideate and support delivery of improved financial outcomes for the area of the organisation.Financial management and control - Work within established systems to deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area of financial control.Financial modelling - Provide financial modelling input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business.Functional strategy formation - Play a key role in development the operational strategy including financial and non-financial performance targets.Be a key contributor to the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, ensuring engagement with key stakeholders and leading presentations with management, as well as governance on VC initiativesAbout youTertiary Qualification in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline with CA/CPA accreditationStrong commercial/analytical experience with comprehensive understanding of standard product costings systems and inventory valuation adjustmentsAbility to analyse key operational and financial trends across the businessAbility to manage large volumes of data and develop models to manipulate data efficientlyStrong project management experience with the ability to multitask and meet deadlinesThe Bega StoryBega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
