About Us ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provides defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. About The Role You will be responsible for providing dental services to patients, including emergency treatments, general examinations, preventative treatments, restorations, minor oral surgical procedures, x-rays, extractions, root canal treatments, and prosthodontics management. You will liaise with the senior dental officer, medical officers, nursing officers, and specialist dental providers to deliver comprehensive dental care. Your role is vital in promoting and maintaining the oral health of personnel to ensure they are dentally fit for deployment. This is a Permanent Part Time position working 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). Note: There is also an opportunity to work an additional day (Tuesday) at Cabarlah Health Centre to transition to a Full Time role. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance Current unrestricted registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum 2 years of full-time post-graduate clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent) About Oakey Health Centre Located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC), Oakey, the health centre serves approximately 500 members, providing primary medical, dental, physiotherapy, nursing, pharmaceutical, and mental health services. Staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey. Operating hours are generally 0700-1630, Monday Friday, depending on role requirements.
