With over 60 years of impact and more than $60 million invested in WA-led research, the Foundation is now looking to raise its profile, deepen partnerships, and strengthen its philanthropic capability by taking an active role in fundraising.We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role of General Manager, a hands-on opportunity to help guide the Foundations future, enhance its operations, and drive fundraising growth.About the roleThis is an opportunity for a values-driven professional to step into a high-impact role where you can contribute to the Foundations future, driving strategy, operations and engagement with autonomy and purpose. In this role, you will:Report directly to the Board and work closely with an engaged group of stakeholdersLead the execution of the Foundations strategic plan and oversee day-to-day operationsDevelop and implement the Foundations first formal philanthropic and fundraising strategyBuild and maintain relationships across the research, corporate, government and community sectorsOversee grant administration, governance compliance and reporting requirementsTake ownership of the Foundations financial management, including budgeting, reporting and forecastingRepresent the Foundation in public forums, raising its profile and impactLead a small, capable team while being trusted to work independently and make decisionsEnjoy the opportunity to wear multiple hats and contribute to something meaningfulAbout youYou are a motivated and strategic operator who thrives in a lean environment. Youre just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are influencing senior stakeholders.
