Australia Standard TimeOperator MaintainerRole Overview: Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for water distribution, system monitoring, maintenance, refurbishment, and infrastructure enhancement. You will perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance to meet standards and deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Ensure activities comply with Environmental, WH&S requirements, and Sunwater policiesAnalyze faults and implement operational and maintenance solutionsMonitor water infrastructure and report on asset condition and performanceProcure goods and services, supervising contractors as neededAdditional Notes: Due to the role''s nature, there is a 1 in 2 on-call roster.We seek candidates with relevant experience who can organize tasks, develop solutions to routine problems, adapt to change, and practice safe, environmentally responsible work habits.You should also demonstrate:Ability to obtain Certificate 3 Water OperationsSAP experience/knowledgeFamiliarity with water accounting systemsStrong interpersonal skills, especially in customer communicationClass C drivers license for manual vehiclesPhysical fitness for manual tasks, ability to swim, work in confined spaces, and at heightsThis role offers attractive benefits including:Competitive salary + on-call allowances12.75% superannuationAccess to TOIL17.5% leave loading (applicable to EA employees)Emphasis on work/life balanceWater.Imagine a career where your work truly matters, contributing to communities and industries across regional Queensland.
