This unique and rewarding role is ideal for someone with personal experience of the justice system, homelessness, or recovery from alcohol and other drugs (AOD), who wants to walk alongside others on their healing journey.About The RoleAs a Support Worker (Lived Experience), you will use your own story of resilience and recovery to build genuine connections with men exiting custody, AOD rehab, or those at risk of homelessness. You will play a vital role in helping clients stabilise their housing, connect to community supports, and work towards a positive future. You will be working as part of a team aligned with The Salvation Armys Trauma-Informed Care, No Wrong Door Policy, and Mission and Values.This is a Fixed term (12 months) part time (20 hours a week) position based in Cessnock, NSW.
