We have opportunities available for both Diploma and Certificate III Qualified Preschool and Childcare Workers.About The RolesLatrobe City Council operates 25 Early Learning & Care services, providing quality early education and care to the children in our community. These roles provide the perfect opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated professionals looking to further develop their Early Childhood career.In these roles, you will have the chance to directly influence and contribute to the early education and care of our smallest community members. Children are our primary focus, they are valued and supported to grow and develop in our safe and enriching environments.Early Childhood Educator Casual (Certificate III)Hourly pay rate: $34.96 - $37.30 (as per EEEA 2020) plus 12% SuperannuationAvailability to work across all Latrobe City Council Operated Preschools is desirable.Must be Cert III Qualified or enrolled and working towards qualification.Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.Early Childhood Educator - Casual (Diploma Qualified)Hourly pay rate: $36.97 - $39.11 (as per EEEA 2020) plus 12% SuperannuationAvailability to work across all Latrobe City Council Operated Preschools is desirable.Must hold a Diploma Children ServicesCurrent CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.Early Childhood Educator Casual Additional AssistantHourly pay rate: $34.96 - $37.30. (as per EEEA 2020) plus 12% SuperannuationAvailability to work across all Latrobe City Council Operated Preschools is desirable.Certificate 3 in Children Services or Cert 3 in Education (Teachers Aide/Assistant) or a willingness to work toward qualification.Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.Childcare Worker Casual( Certificate 3)Hourly pay rate: $39.99 - $41.13 (as per EBA 2024) plus 12% SuperannuationMust be available to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon)Must have availability to work between hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PMMust hold Cert 3 in Children Services.Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.Childcare Worker - Casual (Diploma Qualified)Hourly pay rate: $45.15 - $48.19 (as per EBA 2024) plus 12% SuperannuationMust be available to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon)Must have daily availability Monday to Friday between hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PMMust hold a Diploma of Community Services (Children Services) or equivalent.Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.All successful applicants are also required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and have an employee Working with Children Check.Go Further at Latrobe City CouncilA career with us begins with a desire to empower and make positive change within our Latrobe City Community.
