Mutual trust and respect are at the heart of everything we do.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer to join our Brisbane Insurance team on a full-time basis. This role will see you acting for insurers in motor vehicle insurance related litigation. This includes bringing and defending claims for property damage.Responsibilities will include the following:Reviewing files and preparing advices;Communicating with clients both in writing and verbally;Preparing court documents, including statements of evidence;Drafting correspondence and communicating with other practitioners;Appearing before the Local Court;File management.Who We Are Looking ForYou will have between 0-2 years'' experience in insurance litigation, must have or be eligible to obtain a Practising Certificate, or alternatively, general litigation with a genuine interest in advancing your career in a high-volume insurance litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a professional approach and excellent communication skills, with a client service focus. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, and have good attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines.
