You will be motivated, energetic, reliable and willing to undertake a range of Animal Attendant responsibilities, ensuring a high standard of animal care is maintained.We are on the lookout forcasual candidates,and the successful candidate will be required to work some weekends.About the RoleAs an Animal Attendant Superstar, you will:Perform animal care tasks such as cleaning cages/enclosures, medicating, feeding, exercising, and assessing animals.Provide basic first aid to animals where required.Ensure high-level communication with managers and colleagues to ensure all information is provided to the required parties.Provide high-level customer service to all stakeholders, including members of the public.About YouYou will have the confidence to interact with customers from all walks of life and possess the following:Certificate II Animal Care or equivalent experience is essentialPrevious animal handling skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.The ability to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays.The desire to work with people to improve animal welfare outcomes.Initiative and ability to prioritiseGood organisational skillsTeam playerExcellent attention to detailAbility to conduct manual handling tasksResilience - the ability to bounce back from occasional setbacksApply NowIf this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you!
