Housing - Supported Residential Services | LauncestonAre you ready to make a difference in the community?We are seeking a permanent, part-time (30.4 hours fortnightly)Senior Worker Accommodation Services position based inLaunceston. This role will be working 2 days per week on Thursdayand Fridays.What you will be doing in this role:Assessing potential tenants and providing information andsupport across a range of issues (e.g. health, employment,income, community resources).Developing case plans, coordinating support services, andmaintaining accurate records (SHIP).Offering emotional support and crisis intervention, andadvocating for tenants when needed.Supervising junior staff and contributing to serviceplanning, policy development, reporting, and programevaluation.Supporting team culture through participation in meetings,training, planning activities, and mentoring.Promoting the service and maintaining stakeholdernetworks.Ensuring safety by adhering to WHS procedures.What we can offer you:$91,567.84 to $ 95,974.32 (Full-time equivalent) plus super+ salary sacrifice;a 7% Graduate Loading payable where you hold a degree in arelevant discipline;A dynamic, fast-paced environment;Opportunities for personal and professional growth;Collaborative team culture.You must have:Knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues relating tohomelessness such as: poverty, unemployment, health, familyviolence, substance use and other social factors which impacton vulnerable or at-risk people.An understanding of the concepts of social justice, socialchange and empowerment, and their application.Experience in case-management including appropriateresponses and actions to tenant feedback and tenantparticipation strategies.Participation in a professional team environment includingteam de-briefing, program planning activities and a variety ofother team based consultative processes.Possess effective interpersonal and verbal communicationskills including the ability to conduct interviews andassessments, provide crisis intervention, advocacy,counselling, problem solving, mediation and conflict resolutionas required.Comprehensive knowledge of the community services andresources available for tenants.High level initiative, problem solving and resilienceskills including the ability to maintain a positive outlook,see the bigger picture, identify opportunitiesand implement solutions.Demonstrated time management skills with the ability toeffectively set priorities and manage assigned caseloads.Well-developed writing skills including the ability tomaintain accurate, professional case-notes, write reports,prepare correspondence and provide required information withinprogram guidelines.Computer skills, in particular the ability to operate wordprocessing and database management software packages Completionof either a Social Work Degree or other tertiary qualificationdeemed equivalent, and/or clearly demonstrated experienceApplicants are required to have a current First Aid LevelII Certificate.For further information about the position, please contact SamCoetzee, Manager Adult Supported Accommodation Facilities,on 0461 479 063 or samuelc1@anglicare-tas.org.au during business hours.The successful applicant will be required to:provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable PeopleRegistration (employment/volunteer category) including NDISWorker Screening Check;present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerablepeople type National Police Check (no older than 12months);provide an International Police Check if you have residedfor 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of16;provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical;provide a current provisional or full Australian DriverLicence.On commencement the successful applicant will be required toundertake our structured Safeguarding Children Trainingprogram.APPLICATIONS CLOSE: WEDNESDAY, 13 th August2025 at 6.00pmIf you are interested in joining our team, please click on the''APPLY link below to commence yourapplication.
