The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.An excellent opportunity now exists for a Senior Manager Asset Management to join our experienced and successful corporation based in Darwin, Northern Territory. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the asset management strategy of one of the Northern Territorys most crucial infrastructure organisations operating in the dynamic and evolving Northern Territory energy market.The RoleReporting to the Executive General Manager Power Services, you will lead the asset management function across Power and Waters electricity assets, ensuring alignment with the corporations standards and asset management policies. Your leadership will guide the development of strategic asset plans, oversee capital and operational planning, and ensure regulatory alignment and risk informed decision making.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic asset management plans across Power Services.Oversee the performance of asset systems and ensure delivery meets reliability, performance and risk targets.Lead investigations and business case development to support investment planning in a regulated utility environment.Maintain alignment between asset strategies and broader organisational performance goals.Lead and support capability development within the asset management team, fostering high performance culture.Support the integration and consistent use of asset data systems to drive effective decision making.Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to business strategy, capital planning, and regulatory engagement.The role is based in Darwin and cannot be performed remotely from an interstate location.About YouIdeally having been exposed to a modern electricity distribution or transmission asset environment, you are a strategic leader with extensive experience translating asset management principles into operational excellence and long term planning. You bring strong commercial acumen, risk awareness, the ability to work under pressure, and the skills to lead teams through change while maintaining essential service outcomes in a regulated environment.Your ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and develop high performing teams sets you apart.
