Our client is a leading private equity-backed infrastructure services and waste management business with operations across Australia and New Zealand. With a clear growth agenda and a focus on operational excellence, they are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead national service delivery and drive commercial performance.Reporting to the CEO, the COO will have 2 distinct areas of responsibility. Firstly, overseeing a broad portfolio including end to end operational performance across workforce, fleet, procurement, scheduling and safety where the role will focus on modernising systems, embedding data-led decision-making, and delivering scalable, high-quality service across a diverse operational footprint. Equally the COO has full commercial responsibility for 3 key divisions and will lead a team of around 200 people.This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for operational performance and commercial results. Youll work closely with senior leaders to drive efficiency, improve service delivery, and lead key initiatives that support growth and operational excellence.Were looking for a commercially minded operator with a track record of leading complex operations and delivering measurable impact.
