This includes leadership of Supported Independent Living (SIL) residences and Community Participation programs. In this role, you will ensure that services provided by WA Blue Sky are tailored to meet customers needs.This is a pivotal leadership position that directly influences the quality of services and community inclusion of customers we support.The Role:We are currently seeking two full-time permanent Home and Community Leaders across multiple service delivery locations within the Perth metropolitan area. Based in Bentley, these positions will report directly to the Managers of Home and Community.Responsibilities:Ensuring customers'' support complies with NDIS requirements and legislationBuilding strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customers receive appropriate and effective supportDemonstrating and promoting WA Blue Skys values and behaviours through your leadership style and daily interactionsLeading and mentoring a team of support workers across the region. Key will be fostering a culture of employee wellbeing, learning, quality, compliance, and safe working practices.Staying informed of sector developments and responding to customer needs with ethical, evidence-based, and values-driven approachesSupporting and implementing organisational change initiativesEnsuring compliance with and contributing to the continuous improvement of WA Blue Skys policies, practices, and strategic objectives.To be successful in this role, you will bring:Minimum three years experience in the Community Services sector, ideally in a comparable positionExperience working across complex human services programs with front-line supervision exposureDemonstrated ability in working with diverse stakeholders, including customers, families, employees, advocates, guardians, health professionals, and the wider communityStrong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to triage and respond to incidents, complaints, and feedbackPassion for innovation, continuous improvement, and contributing to a positive organisational cultureWhile we are seeking experienced leaders within the Aged and Disability sector, we are also open to candidates from other human services sectorsYou could be currently working as a Social Worker, Senior Support Worker, Support Coordinator, or recent graduate wanting a career in supporting people with disabilityif so, we would love to hear from you.Proven experience in leading teams across multiple service offerings is desirable, as is relevant qualifications in human services, education, clinical, or management disciplines.Employment Requirements:NDIS Worker Screening Check at commencementUnrestricted Right to Work in AustraliaValid Drivers LicenceInfluenza Vaccination at time of commencementAn attractive salary packageAccess to salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550, increasing your take-home payHow to Apply:If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you.
