Shifts are 12 hours day or night, 7 days a week, on a rolling roster.Reporting to the Site Supervisor,thispositionincludes the following responsibilities:Haulage of cane from farm to mill with new prime movers and specialised single trailersOperate equipment as per all applicable road and heavy vehicle laws in NSWComply with statutory fatigue breaksUse of in-vehicle fleet telematics as per instructionsUse of Onboard Mass System as per instructionsHave a strong commitment to Workplace Health and SafetyComplete trips efficiently as per instruction from the vehicle dispatch system operatorAdhere to instructions for alternative redeployment tasks during mill stoppagesDesired Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:HC or MC LicenceGood driving recordWillingness to undertake pre-employment medicalWillingness to undertake pre-employment drug & alcohol testingA clear background check report no criminal historyProfessional cane haulage experience desirable but not essentialKnowledge of local roads in the Northern Rivers region of NSWOther important informationWe reserve the right to commence recruitment proceedings prior to the stated closing date.The successful candidate will have to undertake an Australian Federal Police check and Pre-Employment Medical (for certain roles) which will be arranged and paid for by SCT.Recruitment companies, need not applySCT is an equal opportunity employer and we recognise the value and importance of diversity.
